A police incident has closed the Macclesfield Canal at Congleton.
The canal and towpath are closed either side of Bridge 75 near Congleton Railway Station until further notice.
The Canal and River Trust will issue an update as soon as they can re-open the area.
Update Thursday 25th July:
The canal and towpath are now fully re-opened.
